Holistic Care
This program focuses on therapeutic and educational activities to support the emotional well-being and development of children residing in Child Care Institutions and Observation Homes that serve as government shelters for children in distress. Through monthly sessions, the program provided opportunities for girls to express their creativity, heal from trauma, and develop key life skills essential for independent adulthood.
Program Highlights:
-
Skill-Building Initiatives: Workshops focused on confidence building, time management, teamwork, personality development, and self-improvement. Additional training included self-defence, safety awareness, sports, and physical fitness.
-
Therapeutic Activities: Play and Art Therapy sessions were conducted to foster emotional resilience, creativity, and cognitive development. These activities encouraged the girls to express their emotions and facilitated trauma recovery.
-
Health And Hygiene Education: Sessions emphasized the importance of maintaining personal health and hygiene, complemented by the distribution of care packages tailored to the girls' needs.
-
Trauma Recovery Workshops: Designed to help participants navigate and heal from their past experiences, these workshops offered practical tools for emotional stability and self-confidence
The program engages around 35 to 40 girls per home, with consistent attendance across monthly sessions. The girls report increased confidence, improved decision-making abilities, and a greater sense of independence as they prepared for adulthood.
A place where at-risk girls find strength, vision, and the freedom to shape their future.
